Fredrik Thorell joined EW in August 2017 and is a Principal.

Prior to joining EW Healthcare, Mr. Thorell worked with Novo Holdings A/S, where he was an Associate in the Principal Investments team, focusing on executing investments in the life science space across Europe and the US, as well as managing the existing Novo Holdings A/S portfolio.  His transaction experience included investments in Evotec and ConvaTec.

He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in London, where he gained exposure to various segments of the healthcare space.

Mr. Thorell graduated from the University of Gothenburg, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Corporate Finance & Operations Management, and subsequently, a Masters in Intellectual Capital Management.
