Yantai Beacon Medical was a privately owned company based in Yantai, China that provided design, engineering and construction of medical gas systems and purified operating rooms (OR) and intensive care units (ICU), and supplied large oxygen generators and accessories, to China’s hospitals and healthcare institutions. Since its founding in 1999, the Company had built a strong presence covering hundreds of large and mid-sized hospitals across China. EW, together with FountainVest Partners, originally acquired a controlling stake in Yantai Beacon in 2013.
